Professional shows are usually priced by production. We work cheap, ask anybody. Our services can include delivery, alteration, repair, one or two mid-run cleanings and pickup. If items are lost or damaged beyond repair, you’ll owe us for that. It breaks down pretty much as follows:
Option A: We do the important stuff. This means we will work with the director and actors to design costumes, provide all needed items altered to fit, deliver the items and attend tech rehearsals of your choosing, then we go away until the end of your run, when we pick up and handle final cleaning. You’re responsible for cleaning and maintenance during the run. Per actor, up to four changes, $100 per actor. More changes than that, we’ll talk. Damage and/or loss result in additional charges.
Option B: We do more stuff. This means we will do all of the Option A stuff, plus during the run, we’ll do repairs as needed plus weekly cleaning. This is a pain, so we charge more. Per actor, up to four changes, $120. More changes, more money. Damage and loss are ok.( No, just kidding, you have to pay for that too.)
School shows are priced per student, as follows:
Up to four changes (outfits) per student, per show - $120
One change per student for entire show - $60
These charges apply to a school show with a minimum of 8 student actors, within a radius of 40 miles from zip code 90041. We will drive farther, for more money. (Let’s be honest, we’ll do pretty much anything for more money.) For schools, we bring everything needed, do alterations, weekly laundry of washable items (no dry cleaning unless specifically requested for an additional charge), do weekly repairs, pick up at the end and do final cleaning. Damage and/or loss results in additional charges. We will also design hair and makeup for a small additional fee of $200 (does not include materials). We are very careful with students to make sure everybody is safe, comfortable and feels good about what they’re wearing. We were also young once. Well, Chad and Angela are still pretty young-the rest of us not so much, but we still remember the angst. Good times.
We own an absolutely ridiculous amount of stuff. We have all the stuff. From all the history. We have clothes, shoes, hats, socks, jewelry, purses, and all the other things (sock garters, chaps, clown shoes), in sizes to fit middle school through senility. It’s exhausting really. Everything in all the pictures on this site are owned by us, plus a whooooole lotta other stuff, including small props. We can take pictures of specific items on request, or schedule a visit!
